About Kitsune Education

In Japanese folklore, "kitsune" are fox spirits that are known for their intelligence, wisdom, and sometimes, mischievousness.
Kitsune Education was launched in order to offer affordable, fun and engaging digital and print products for speech therapy and language learning.
Kitsune Education incorporates anime-inspired illustrations and Japanese design aesthetics into products in order to enhance speech and language practice.
Anime-styled Illustrations are characterized by large and expressive eyes, a rich color palette that includes a multitude of hues and shades (especially for hair, clothing, and eyes), and exaggerated expressions when conveying emotions.
Anime styling in essence prioritizes the character's personality and innate skills and traits over offering an overtly realistic drawing or animation.
Kitsune Education's mission is to be a fun, engaging educational resource for children, teens, and adults with speech and language impairments.
Kitsune Education was founded by Leah Singh, MS, CCC-SLP. Leah has over 15 years' experience as a speech-language pathologist and has practiced in many settings including onsite/virtual elementary, middle and high schools, home health care, inpatient/outpatient clinics, and skilled nursing facilities. She is ASHA certified and holds licenses in the states of California and Louisiana.
